Homecoming 2014: Tennessee Traditions

October 10-11, 2014

Can you remember the last time you were on campus? The last time you strolled through Circle Park and enjoyed a fall afternoon with orange and white everywhere? Maybe it's time. Time to revisit memories, chat with old friends, wander familiar hallways, check out the new buildings, and experience our on-going campus beautification efforts.

The theme this year is Tennessee Traditions, and our Grand Marshal for the parade is an expert on the subject. Del Bryant from House of Bryant will be with us for the parade and in Circle Park on Saturday. Del's parents, Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, wrote and published our beloved "Rocky Top," which we'll hear a few times at Homecoming.

Also scheduled to appear this year in the parade: Coach Butch Jones with a few big guys dressed in orange. Immediately following the parade will be a bonfire, fireworks, an appearance by Butch Jones and players, and, finally, Smokey's Howl. Now there's a reason to come in early on Friday and enjoy the parade and Friday night festivities.
